Comments:

I've had this bike for a little over year now, and it has been incredible. It has seen trails, bumpy roads and a 20 mph crash in which I was the only thing broken out of the whole ordeal. I love this bike, it is my baby. The only problem is that the wheels are garbage, they bend so easily, beyond repair. I just threw down 80 bucks to get a new wheel on, but it runs just like it did before, so I am pleased.

I ride road bikes but wanted a bike to ride all winter long in the snow and on trails. So I bought this bike. I took it to the trails for a test ride and it was great on the trails. Handled very well. It is very heavy. Atleast its alot heavier than my road bike.

This bike can take high mileage. ive had it for 2 years, and it has at least 7,000 miles. people say its heavy, but its a pretty fast bike. i live on long island and i have it on the road 7 days a week every day. on weekends i rack up about 50 miles each. this bike has had no breakdowns. chain and casette just replaced due to normal wear. can easily go 30 + miles an hour. shines up really nicely. its been to montauk, north carolina, and soon upstate. ive driven it 80 miles no problem and i was passing people. even though its heavy, it hauls itself really well.

I love the bike. I found it in a dumpster after it was in a house fire. It just had some soot on it and needed some tweaking. I do alot of street riding(bmx style). Those people saying its heavy are crazy. I can bunnyhop mine at least 2ft high or clear the width of an average parking space. I go up stairs and can drop off of loading docks with no problem. I can do aerials on ramps and rockwalks on the ground all while doing long distance riding of ~20 miles or more. All I've replaced are the pedals, grips, and innertubes. Awesome bike.

I ride the single tracks in Pocahontas at least 2 times a week. This bike can take alot of abuse but the components are not the best. I did upgrade the rear derailleur. I raced on this bike (and lost :)and it held up well. I bent the original rim hopping a curb in Washington DC. If you need a cheap sturdy bike this is it. If your looking to shred alot of singletrack this may not be best bike for you.
